課程宗旨與特色
Connectivity is a communicative course for adults and young adults. Connectivity has 6 levels from beginner to advanced competency. Each purchased book has a unique code which gives students access to 1) the Student’s Interactive eBook, 2) Student’s App and 3) Online Practice. The Student’s Interactive eBook enables students to access their student book materials on their computer or other mobile devices. The Student’s App gives students access to the complete Connectivity audio and video program as well as activities for grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening comprehension and speaking practice. Online Practice offers lesson-by-lesson exercises with interactive practice activities in all skills. It offers a) immediate feedback on wrong answers, b) a listen-and-record feature that allows students to compare their pronunciation to a model, c) extra reading and writing practice.
本課程採用【Connectivity】系列，歐盟語言參考架構(CEFR)為B1級數。以日常生活情境為主題，有效提升聽力與口語流利度，同時注重文法的組織。
*東海學生心得:Mailly老師講話很風趣，說話時是手舞足蹈的~人很大方親切，我聽不太懂英文的時候，她會參雜中文和我解釋，她說不懂隨時問 才是對的學習方式。
本班上課時間：2025年2月18日起，每週二19:00-21:00，共8週16節課。

課程內容
week 1. Unit 1: Making New Friends, get to know someone, cheer up a friend
week 2. Unit 1: discuss friendship, differences among siblings
week 3. Unit 2: Sharing Life experiences, catch up with an old friend, suggest tourist activities
week 4. Unit 2: describe greeting customs, talk about a memorable experience Unit 3: Talking about Movies, choose a movie to watch express an opinion about a movie
week 5. Unit 3: express an opinion about a movie, discuss what makes a movie great Unit 4: Away from Home, check in and out of a hotel
week 6. Unit 4: request services in a hotel, choose vacation accommodations
week 7. Unit 5: Looking Good, ask for something in a store, making an appointment for personal care
week 8. Unit 5: discuss cosmetic procedures, define inner and outer beauty
